Great Smoky Mountains

While driving back from Florida where I picked up my car, I ventured through the Great Smoky Mountains. It was a perfect day outside, 60 degrees with sunny skies. I must say if you are looking for a fun road trip that takes you directly through the mountains, this would be the one. I started at the North Carolina side and drove through the park until I reached Gatlinburg, Tennessee. There are so many stop offs, hiking paths and rivers/water falls to see throughout the park. Not to mention the absolutely amazing view of mountains for miles.
