Sacré-Coeur & Montmartre

To say this was beautiful is just an understatement. After climbing way too many stairs to count I was astounded at this view. Even now looking back at pictures I see more details that I had missed when I was there. You could have sat and looked at all of the beauty of this Roman Catholic church for hours. As you entered inside it was a sound of silence. The quietness gave your mind a chance to open and allow the beauty to captivate your soul. After you come out of the church there is a small city right next to it and we had walked through it. I picked up a small artwork of the church at a local artist shop. There were people doing caricatures and a few cafés you could have stopped at if you had wanted.
