Point Beach State Park located on Lake Michigan is a great place to explore. There are lots of dunes for you to walk by as well as part of the shore line that is filled with stones. This particular state park also offers camping and is a great place to spend a week or weekend at. While the waters are still chilly in summer it still makes for a great get away to explore not only the beach but the forest area as well. Another feature of this particular park is the Rawley Point Lighthouse.
