Notre Dame & The Seine River – Paris, France

After visiting the Eiffel Tower, my friend and I decided to head over to meet a friend of his. It was close to Notre Dame and we spent the afternoon and evening hanging out on by the Siene River. Notre Dame had recently had its big fire when I visited only a month prior and you could see what remained. They had most of it blocked off by guards but even at a distance it was beautiful to see. We spent the rest of the night walking the streets of Paris, stopping to get falafels at a restaurant and a few beers. We ended up in a park the banks of the Siene River where locals gathered and played music and danced under the street lights. You could see tour boats passing by and flashes of cameras as they tried to capture the moments.
