I have spent a few weeks out in Colorado and while I have been there, it is my number one thing to stop at random coffee shops. I adore checking out coffee places anywhere I go in the world and seeing each unique place. These were a few of the places I had visited around the Denver and Boulder area.
Two Rivers Colorado Coffee Company has now changed its name and paired up with Sweet Bloom Coffee and so now this location is change to the new name of Sweet Bloom Coffee but it is located in Wadsworth, Colorado and was super hip inside and a great spot to grab a coffee with a friend and talk. My friend and I spent probably an hour in the café and people came and left for pick up as well as some working throughout the shop on computers. The coffee was great and they roast their own which is fun to find, local and small business too!
The next stop is at Red Frog Coffee. This coffee shop is located in Longmont, Colorado. This is located right in a little strip mall area. While we were in town for my best friends wedding we stopped here to grab a coffee and had lunch at the Twisted Noddle next door. This was a super cute coffee shop that was amazing in custom drinks. They introduced me to “dirty” ice cubes that they use in all their cold drinks. It is basically frozen coffee ice cubes so when it melts it keeps the coffee flavor without being watered down! I got a cherry coconut latte here and it was amazing. Totally work stopping at if you’re in that area! The staff is so friendly and nice and they have cute frog décor all over the entire place. Great place to sit down and good sitting room.
Okay so for this one we are headed over to a smaller little coffee shop Ampersand Coffee Roasters. They are located in a little shop in Boulder Colorado. They aren’t in the main area of Boulder so its a little stretch to find where they are exactly but the GPS does a good job. They are a small business that roasts their own coffee. We didn’t sit down at this coffee shop because we were headed out to a friends place so we just got it to go. It isn’t a huge store so it would be a great place for the local apartments nearby to stop in and grab coffee in the morning but not the best place to sit and work in a larger environment. The coffee was well worth it though and they ship it! Totally worth going to and the reviews were all true. Great taste.
Another one of my favorite coffee shops to visit in Colorado is Red Silo Coffee Roasters located in Arvada. It has a ton of room for seating and is great for get togethers and a quick pick me up and go. They have a lot of options with unique cups for each type of drink you order. I had tried their nitro coffee and it was amazing. Totally worth checking out if you are into coffee.
The atmosphere was modern but comfortable, there were chairs you could relax in and look over the balcony to where people ordered. It totally had the silo vibe, very magnolia farms style. The coffee was great and they do offer bakery items as well which we had one of the days and they were just as good!
Another thing that I thought this would make a great coffee shop to work with multiple people, host a small meeting at or get together. The upstairs has so much more seating than you initially see when you walk in. So adorable and a must go to!
