Camping in my Honda CR-V

Its not every day you decide to take the back seats out of your ’07 Honda CR-V and turn it into a bed to go camping, and yet here we are. Taking out the seats was fairly easy, you simply had to pop off the plastic casing for the seat’s feet and unbolt the seats. Once they were out I simply packed it full with pillows, a king size mattress foam pad folded in half, a sleeping bag, a comforter and more pillows and blankets. I purchased 20 ft. LED string lights by Martha Stewart from my local TJMAXX and small 3m Command hooks and stuck them around parts of my car on the plastic body part so they could easily be removed later without any damage. Once I strung them up I was good to go! I also packed along a garage screen door from Harbor Freight and simply tied it up around my car so I was able to pop open the back and have an added little screening area plus it was the perfect place to take a nap and yet enjoy the weather without any bugs getting in!
