“Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other women who have her back. “

-Unknown

In our world today, being a female is a beautiful thing. You have power, you have a voice, you have the strength and support of so many other amazing women around you. I know being a creative entrepreneur is sometimes lonely and you get stuck working alone behind your computer quite often. These are some of my favorite books where I feel like I have a girl gang to rely on and hear stories and support from. I know they are all shouting in our corners to be our cheerleaders. So if you need a little self encouragement from other ladies who are killing it, check these out!

  • Present Over Perfect by Shauna Niequist: Leave behind the pressure of being perfect and simply be present in your life. Quit pushing yourself to achieve perfection in your life and just simply live your life. Being present is going to make the journey of your life much more fulfilling than constantly trying to obtain some unrealistic goal of being perfect. Shauna gives you the story of what made her finally realize living a life in presence over perfection was what made all the difference in her life and it can in yours too.
